"Great shelter, the people here are very kind and helpful, ofcourse this is a Safe Haven Shelter, you can only get in through Breaking Ground. If you've been on the street more than 3 months or homeless you would qualify. The immediate way is to go to 28th Street and 9th Avenue across the street from Holy Apostle Church Wednesday Mornings from 11am to about 1pm and where you see The New York City Relief Bus and tables set up in the park, speak to one of the staff and explain your individual situation of being homeless and needing a Safe Haven Shelter and they can and will help direct you on a better path to hopefully soon getting your own apartment and off the streets.
