"A business heart is based on client satisfaction. This business manager has no regard for non-white clientele. As my family & I entered Bridge House Restaurant we were greeted with disrespect. The manager looked up/down at my family & I. I felt a sense of racism & discrimination. I let him know that his way of being condescending is unprofessional. When I called I asked if they were open because my family & I wanted to go. Unfortunately I forgot to mention that we were a party of 12 & so did the person that answered the phone. (Which sounded exactly like the manager). The manager here is very unpleasant & has a way to make one feel belittled. I highly recommend DockSide which is right across from them for anybody that wants to enjoy great food, with a great atmosphere, with a big party. This review is not for the food but for the unprofessionalism of management."
"Good local restaurant with a nice variety of food on its menu. A very good cocktail selection with fantastic drinks. The wine list also compliments the menu. The food is made-to-order and very good. The scallops special is very tasty and is served over pumpkin risotto making i a nice fall meal. The medium steak was a bit overcooked but still satisfying and the meatloaf, yes the meatloaf, gets a thumbs up! The staff is very friendly and accommodating."
"What an exceptional restaurant! Bridge House Restaurant consistently ranks as our top pick for fine dining, particularly when we have guests in town. Every visit every time leaves both us and our friends thoroughly impressed. The warm and attentive staff don't just offer outstanding specials; they ensure our experience is tailored to our preferences, readily accepting suggestions and adjustments. Their genuine small talk adds a personal touch that enhances our dining experience. The inviting ambiance, spanning both the upper and lower levels, evokes the comfort of a cherished home. But the crowning glory is undeniably the culinary delights they serve. Their dishes consistently showcase inventive flair and exceed our lofty expectations. On our recent visit, the lobster flatbread left a lasting impression, the risotto was impeccable, and staples like the 5 oz steak and their signature dips remained as delightful as ever. Truly, it's a dining gem."
"We recently moved to Milford and went to try Bridge house to celebrate my sister’s engagement and I have to say this was above my expectations. Food was delicious, ambiance espectacular, the service was above and beyond. We order from the starters: seafood chowder, artichoke and spinach dip, and two way calamari. For entrees we ordered chicken waffles (my personal favorite), steak frites and a burger. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!"
"Such a cute spot with nice atmosphere. My waitress Carly was so excellent, she gets the most stars of this review! So personable and just all around great. The food... not exactly what I had hoped but pretty good. The French onion soup was def a no from me, and they very kindly took it off my check. The 14oz NY strip special was delicious though. My one issue was (also like the soup) it wasn't hot? Like temperature wise everything was room temp (but Carly was so great and felt bad the soup wasn't good so I didn't want to tell her, sorry!!) The chocolate peanut butter cake though?! I could've had just that for dinner. It was AMAZING! Maple bourbon old fashioned - just okay. I would return again for the service, atmosphere, cake and albeit lukewarm the entree was really good."
