"Waitress was absolutely miserable, place is dirty and fruit flies were everywhere. I got the buffet but my mom just ordered a small appetiser. I bit into a dumpling and spit it out. My mom grabbed it to smell it and the lady rushed over to accuse her of eating off my buffet plate and threatened to charge for two plates. Tried to explain what happened and that maybe the dumplings were bad but just sat there getting accused of stealing a dumpling. Never was asked for a drink refill and with how it’s stationed I was left to guess that I must have to refill it myself, only to be lectured again. Not sure how this place is in business. The lady at the front desk however was very friendly but our waitress had the personality of a soured dish rag."

"Vegetarian family with shell fish allergy. Thanks so much for the “Vegetarian” egg rolls that we paid for. Also really appreciate the fact that you couldn’t even be bothered to apologize or offer a refund when we called to discuss the fact that we were given the wrong food that could be fatal. Lousy food. Lousy customer service. Don’t waste your time or money going here. If you have allergies you may even get to add a hospital bill onto your night just by eating here."

"The first word to come to mind is “yuck.” I’ve tried to like empire buffet, I really have. The people there are nice and all, but I just don’t like the food. They aren’t great at refreshing items, and I’ve definitely seen items that seemed like they’d been sitting for a while. Not as hot and fresh as other buffets I have been to. It doesn’t seem to matter what I pick to eat, I never feel very good afterwards. And the stuff I like, such as crab Rangoons, are just not as good as other places I have been. The sushi always looks pretty gross. It’s just not my cup of tea, so I wouldn’t recommend it."

"The food was hot and delicious! The staff was super nice and didn’t linger. Everything seemed clean - they provided gloves for scooping food and had hand wipes available. $13 each for dinner is a very good deal. We will definitely be going back."
