"Several employees walked by me as I waited at least 15 minutes for someone, anyone, to ask me how many and to be seated. One woman stated she would be right with me as she turned and walked away to help several tables. She was obviously a waitress and was not coming back because I watched her tend to three tables. I had to ask an employee, one who finally came to the entrance, how long the wait was, meanwhile there were at least 10 empty tables. Without a smile, or an apology for ignoring me and all the other people waiting, finally seated me. A waitress told me at least twice that she would be back to take my order. I watched her tell another table the same. And I then waited another 15 minutes for her to return to at least take my drink order. Unfortunately, this is common practice at this location and the main reason why I don’t bother coming in. I was in the area and wanted breakfast so I gave in. Believe me, this will be the last time I spend my money at this location. Not worth it. I come from a customer service era/background and believe wholeheartedly that being polite and acknowledging customers when they walk in is not a lot to ask for. This is a service based industry. I do not blame the employees. It’s management’s responsibility to do better and set the standards for treating customers well. Point blank, period! As I’m sitting in the restaurant typing this, I am able to see 6 separate groups of new potential customers wait as I did, without anyone acknowledging them and taking their party name and provide a wait time. I also watched another party walk out because of this."
"The food was good. I must admit I went for the purple pancakes. 2 is all you need. I couldn't even finish them. The server was friendly and even though it was busy the wait was not long. They did a great job."
"Came into the restaurant and three of twenty tables were occupied. I was a single. Told there was a 5-10 minute wait. I was seated by a friendly person who said they just had to wipe the table down. Table was wiped down and left soaking wet and sticky (old towel). Waitress asked how I was doing and I responded “wet” and motioned to the table. She told me she would get me some napkins so I could wipe the table down myself!! My food arrived burnt. I asked if it was a new cook. She said no but if my food was too burnt she could bring it back. Total failure on behalf of this restaurant in taking care of its customers. Especially when it’s not very busy. Sierra W. was my server. Asked for a manager and was informed the manager had stepped out of the building!! Horrible experience. Ll"
"The meals we ordered were good. The cheese cake pancake remains my favourite. The server took a while to come to our table however she made up for that with great service."
