"I didn't like sushi before I tried Kisara. It's incredibly fresh. Phenomenal service. Definitely call ahead because they book up quick. Ramen is very good as well. Gotta get the eel special roll!!! My friend who was stationed in Japan said it's the best sushi he's had since being over there."
"Little pricey, but they have one of the best sushi I've ever had. Do try their Holiday roll, it is just amazing! I'd also recommend their Autumn roll. I've tried a couple of their main course, but none of them have come out great so far. But the rolls have been phenomenal."
"We have been to a lot of Japanese restaurants over the years and believe we can compare the local spots pretty well. I ordered the spicy pork ramen, the broth was good and it had plenty of noodles. A complaint I saw a few times was that there was not much meat ( I agree) and my pork was hard and chewy. My wife liked her sushi , I had a salmon roll and it was good. We ordered the kids hibachi which was huge, nice for leftovers and we tried the sparkling sake which was good. I would come here again and try some other things. Our server was polite and did a good job. Overall the food was good just not a five and I could see it being hard to get a spot on fridays and the weekend due to the size."
"After seeing the reviews I was really looking forward to coming here, but unfortunately reality didn't match up. We started with the vegetable tempura appetizer. An otherwise good dish was marred by several pieces of tempura having the flour powder still inside them. Whether the batter wasn't mixed well or it wasn't cooked right, I don't know, but biting into a tempura powder isn't the experience one is looking for. We made mention to our server who we could hear pass the information on, but nothing was done about it - not a replacement, removal from the bill or acknowledgement from the management. One of us ordered the calamari salad and enjoyed it quite a bit. The Asain in our group ordered the tantanmen Ramen, one of the chef's specials. She felt the broth tasted of a powdered mix you buy in a store and didn't find it tasty. We also had the jalapeño hot and spicy ramen, which oddly did have jalapeños nor was it hot and spicy. The server was nice and attentive, the restaurant itself nice, but sadly, at least on this, our first visit the food just wasn't where it should be."
"This place is just a blast!, I have been in different US states and I can say that maybe this place takes the number 1!, I order the 2 speciality rolls and we're amazing!, I recommend this place 100!, is out of my way/town, but definitely will drive the 45 min to experience this delicious food!"
