"My first (and now last ever) pickup order was absolutely disappointing. I placed my order for the 4pm-5pm pickup time, 2.5 hours in advance. I arrived 10 minutes early, since I was in the area, already knowing I would need to wait a bit. I was not prepared for an hour and a half wait! I called at 3:55pm to notify the store I had arrived. They told me my order was still being shopped, but would be another 10 minutes. I told them I would wait the 10 minutes for the order. I called again at 4:50pm (55 minutes later) to remind the store I was still waiting. They told me my order had just finished being shopped, and would be out to me in 5 minutes. At 5:22pm (half an hour later), I spoke to an employee that just brought out an order for the 5th car to pull up after me and leave with their order. He brought out my order within minutes. I would not have any issue if someone would have notified me ahead of time that the pickup order would be late. I would have showed up later with no problem. It is completely unprofessional to neglect notification of an order that will be late when it has a set pickup time and even more unprofessional to lie about how much longer the late order will take. I do not appreciate my time being wasted. A simple notification should have been the minimum courtesy. To further the insult, I get an email AND a text telling me my order is ready for pickup.... an hour and 40 minutes after I get home from finally getting my order. The only reason I did not do the shopping myself is because I am sick and thought the right thing to do was keep out of a store where I may spread my cold. Stop and Shop just lost my business due to their complete disregard for the customer's time, and their lack of simple communication."

"The two ladies are customer service today were something else first they ignored me then refused to sell me a powerball ticket talking about go get my id like I’m about to be 40, give me my money back clearly you didn’t want to serve me in the first place. Smfh"

"The selections are decent. Deli staff is very helpful. Prices are competitive and when they have sales you can save some good money. Bakery has some delicious choices but you have to be aware of the prices: if you pick 4 muffins it's going to cost close to $12. The staff are generally nice and helpful. The reason for the 3 stars - the self checkout machines. They are absolutely horrible. They take forever to scan and don't always catch the scanned items. If you don't move it to the bagging area quickly it will ask for an attendant. Move it too quickly, calls an attendant. Just have to be patient but they need better machines."

"Hello, I'm reaching out in regards to an employee named Ryan who does carts in parking lot. I've been shopping about 2 years here and wanted to give a shout out to him because he goes the extra mile with work. Very friendly and always working extremely hard when I see him that it's hard to go unnoticed. An employee this is the reason people shop here. As a public servant and owner of my own business he deserves a raise because he exceeds employer expectations in my book. I'm also recommending employee of the month or something in that nature. Also as a happy consumer I've giving you guys 5 stars, 6 if I could."
