Reviews
"The food came out extremely quickly and I wished they would have kept it longer to put some love into it or something. I’ve lived in Japan and still had decent ramen here in CT, but the food was very bad. I got my usual tan tan ramen and it was very oily, not spicy or flavorful. My partner ordered kimchi ramen and, while it was a bit better, it was still bad. I’m shocked that the reviews for this restaurant are so high. I will say the woman working was very nice!"
"My son and I loved the ramen here and we’re both really picky. The spicy so ramen is absolutely delicious and not too spicy. The gyoza appetizer was also very good! We ate in and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend!"
"Really nothing special here. Food was bland and tastes like it was microwaved. Very oily and pieces of chicken tiny for a $16 meal. Took a risk coming here was sorely disappointed. This place should not have the kind of reviews it is receiving."
"100% absolutely best Raman soup bowl in CT!"
"So Ramen is so close to home I just had to Pick the perfect day to go and dine in. Setting inside is very simple but clean . Had about 8 tables and all of them Seat 4 people. When we arrived I thought I'd put my order in and then stay to sit and eat but we got seated, greeted and our orders were taken. So it was nice. No one was dining in but many people were picking up to go Orders. It took about 10-15 minutes for our dishes to Come out. So Super Bowl Sunday, , called for Ramen. My dad had the Gomoku Ramen which was more colorful and had porkbelly, veggies, seaweed, egg, fish cakes , corn and bamboo shoots. My dad enjoyed his bowl of ramen and had very good flavor. For myself I chose the oxtail Ramen. Had about 3 pieces of oxtail and to Make it GF, rice noodles were used and a different kind of sauce since they do not have GF soy sauce. I was surprised at how good it tasted. Came out nice and hot and a good size bowl. I just wish it had something else in there besides oxtail, mushrooms, onions and scallions. The egg! I always look forward to the egg in Ramen! Plus adds a bit of color! So-Ramen is good to have nearby, i would go again and try something different. There menu has quite a few things such as apps, basic ramen, spicy ramen and Specialty Ramen. They also have mini combos and Plates that are not ramen. I'm glad I finally got to check It out and try!"
