"Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and the food was fresh and fries were hot and the staff was friendly and the lobby was very clean I will definitely be back to this location"
"Every day they mess up orders. Please make sure to double check your order if you order from here. Today we bought a happy meal and when kid tries to eat the nuggets happy meal, there are no nuggets. When called its always the easy answer, come back and we will give it"
"I came to this McDonald's on September 29th. I placed an order which I thought was drive thru pickup but was inside. Not a problem. I have never done the pick up inside so I stood in line waiting to give my order number. There was one employee on the front register raking an order through her headset. The only other register open had an employee in front of me and two employees male and female at the register who appeared to be trying to figure out something for the employee standing in front of me. I stood there for at least 3 minutes without ANYONE even acknowledging that I was even in line. Not until I made eye contact with an employee coming from the prep area and I said "excuse me, can you help me because these people are acting like they do not see me", that the female who was speaking with the male employee said "someone will be with you". At the end the employee I spoke to let me know my order was behind me. My point is a little common courtesy goes a long way. All they had to do was say "we will be right with you". Is that so hard? That is what is lacking in today's hospitality business no comman courtesy but everyone is quick too ask you to tip. I WILL NOT be going back here."
"This McDonald's location is very clean, the floors, tables, men's room, kiosks, windows etc. And excellent service and smiles from the staff what a pleasure dining for breakfast. i am a long haul trucker who dines at McDonald's in every state coast to coast border to border unfortunately some restaurants are not sanitary this one is a gem keep up the great work, the woman who brought me my tray greeted me with a smile and said have a great day, I wish all restaurants were like this."
"McDonald's in Cromwell is a convenient stop over for a quick meal or snack. In this visit we met up with an acquaintance and to grab a snack. Although this is not our usual McDonald's of choice since we have one closer to home it was quite close and it is conveniently located to various shopping venues including Stop and Shop diagonally across the street, the Dollar Tree in the plaza less than a mile down the road( which also has a grocery store ShopRite), and Walmart a few miles away. Thus it can easily be integrated into errands or weekly grocery runs. The parking lot is rather tight. Being near the interchange with Rte 9 and the connection to interstate 91 there are many trucks stopping in for a rest or quick meal. This time there was a large car carrier taking up several spaces, making caution to enter necessary. The spaces are not huge and in an SUV we had to take care. The lot was above 75% capacity mid day on a work day. The entrance and exit were well marked and visible from the street. The restaurant itself is as one has come to expect from a typical McDonald's. The service was pleasant and friendly. One of the biggest draws for me is the inexpensive food. The quality is very consistent as one expects with a box chain store. If you are looking for a healthy meal or gourmet, McDonald's probably is not the choice for you. What it does shine at is inexpensive predictable food served quickly with a smile and that's what I got. The restaurant offers indoor dining options. We opted to order in and eat in our cars because we were awaiting the arrival of someone and wanted to be able to spot them. There was ample space to dine in had we chosen to, and there are several window seats with a view of the world going by outside. The drive through line was lengthy, and we got a better parking spot. Departing from the restaurant and the traffic are also a point to consider as part of your trip. While it is possible to exit to Shunpike Tpk either to the right or left, the traffic in the area is heavy most times, and making the left to head South requires considerable caution and patience. Integrating this stop into your excursion so that it is on your right to enter(such is the case if you are driving north on Shunpike, that is, towards route 217) and that you will continue to the North on exit will make the trip more pleasant and safe. Overall this was a good visit to a different McDonald's that I do not frequent. It was a convenient stop to have a quick meet up and grab an ice cream snack. The service was good, the menu predictable, and options to eat as expected. Parking, traffic, and long drive through are minor annoyances to consider. With a bit of planning you can make the most of the trip, get a good parking spot and arrive and depart with minimized hassle."
