"Tons of different pizza choices and options, we love coming here for a quick slice. Very friendly service and typical pizza shop atmosphere that's comfortable and inviting. Plenty of options from pizza to pasta, dishes, and salads. Overall great local place we will keep returning to!"
"I don’t usually leave review but in this case I had to. I mean who actually has time to sit and write a review good or bad. I have been a customer since they opened and yup some great and some ok. But we don’t live to eat we eat to live don’t we. Some people just are not happy with themselves and feel like their live is over and feel like they should take it out on a small business . It’s not right. Chances are they ( VIA) sucked it up and had to deal with a client who can never be satisfied. It’s probably the best ny pizza you will find on the island. And just because it’s different from your store bought box pizza doesn’t mean it’s not good. Just means you don’t like good pizza. So if you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Buy your stoffers and have at it in your toaster oven and stop taking your own self hate out on small business . They all work had not just via pizza. Smarten up."
"This place is amazing! The variety of slices is insane and will definitely fit whatever pizza craving you have! The slices are packed with flavor! The meatball sub was gigantic. I didn't expect any of this at all. I wish I knew of this place a long time ago!! I may come back for dinner haha"
"That was the first (and quite likely last time) I ordered from this place, as I don't live in the area. Seriously, $45 for a mediocre-at-best pizza and some garlic knots that, despite asking for extra garlic, had barely any at all? Garlic knots should be loaded with garlic, especially when the customer asks and (presumably) pays for extra. Sadly, these had almost no flavor at all. Which is a real shame, given the taste of the pizza which they were meant to compliment. As for the pizza, the problem with it wasn't so much the taste as the mouthfeel and overall quality. I guess they want to justify high prices, but the food suffers for how they're trying to make up for it - with quantity. Individually, the components of the pizza tasted great, with the exception of the center of the crust. The crust has a great flavor overall but it's far too thick, which makes it chewy and feel almost undercooked in the middle. But they have to use such a thick crust to support the weight of the toppings - in this case, the chicken and super thick cheese of the chicken parm pie. Again, the flavors were excellent, but it was just too much when all put together. I realize that in today's world, everyone equates biggest with best, and that's how they're going to attract customers. But in this case, they could have easily used half as much cheese, and maybe 1/3 to 3/4 of the chicken, but cut it up into smaller pieces, and then used half the dough for a nice, NYC style thin and crispy crust. Not only could they then charge less - and thus garner more customers with a combination of quality AND value - but the pizza would be absolutely superior to pretty much any other pie I've ever had. The delivery guy was pleasant and friendly, and was pretty spot-on with the promised delivery time."
"Via has excellent NY-style pies and great Sicilian style, too. I’ve tried many in the area, and as a former Chef I am very picky about what the style should and shouldn’t be. We gave them a shot last year and they nailed it. Now, they are our family’s go-to shop when we vacation near Stony Brook. The pies are very large, so count heads accordingly. I’m 6’1”, 200 lbs and 2 slices of sausage/mushroom had me stuffed."
