"Came here for a wedding. Parking is well situated in front. All around nice place. Didn't stay in the rooms/overnight, the ballroom was nice and well setup. The hallways have beautiful lighting. The foyer is very welcoming. All around nice place to come for a meeting or just a meet up."
"Room is nice. Expensive for one night. They have no amenities at all. No restaurant, no bar, no shuttle to Downtown Tarrytown. I called the front desk at night because there was no heat and the woman was Extremely nasty. There are so many other lovely hotels in this area. I would not recommend this one. I requested no smoking room. Meanwhile the hallway smelled of marijuana and cigarettes"
"Let me say this: The housekeeping staff was wonderful, I had the most engagement with them, and they were great! One of the front desk folks was awesome too. The rooms are tired, the carpets were very stained and dirty. The rooms were spacious enough. Our window was broken...we opened it for some fresh air, it wouldn't close. I chose this hotel because of the pool, it looked awesome and I was traveling with kids. It was broken 3 of the 4 days we were there, and it was freezing. The other thing to note is the restaurant was TERRIBLE. No kid options. Super high prices. Unfriendly staff. The a-la-carte was a joke. My granddaughter got toast, she got microwaved bread and frozen butter. The croissants were tiny, and the ends were hard as rocks so clearly very stale and they were served cold. The atmosphere was dismal. We saw 3 groups come in, look at the menu and leave. Another table walked away from their full meal, grumbling. This place looks awesome from the photos and the lobby is cool but boring. It was okay but I picked it thinking it would be really kid friendly and it was not. Also, don't get a room on the first floor unless you plan to carry all of your luggage, there are stairs and no way to get past them. My son got a room next to ours, he got it on priceline and it was hundreds of dollars cheaper."
"Please forgive me for not posting any pictures. While I'm clearly falling down on the job, this hotel is not. It's a rustic delight right down to the scary hallways in "The Shining." The only thing missing was a kid on a Big Wheel. I enjoyed the bathroom and the bed, charming and comfy, respectively. The staff are the best and really want you to have a great stay. It's an approachable place that had me at "Sleepy Hollow Hotel." Yes, please! Centrally located to whatever you need, just be sure to eat before you go; they only serve breakfast."
