"This property promised me I would not be charged $300 for a separate reservation I made as they made me a new one to fix dates. Well after paying for the new reservation, they did in fact then charge me AGAIN for the old one. I was told I would get a refund once the manager came back from vacation in a week. This was 2 months ago. They never answer the phone and corporate wouldn't help me. On top of that, we were given a room with a broken window and fridge and was literally told we were given a bad room because we had our cat. The entire hotel smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The A/C unit looks as if it hadn't been cleaned since the day the hotel opened. Air quality was awful due to this and the smoke. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in."
"This hotel does not deserve 1 star. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not pet friendly nor human friendly. Upon checking in with my 5lb, crate trained dog I was not told about the pet policy. Only that the suite I reserved was not suitable due to having a pet and three people staying so we were moved to a ground floor room. The hotel had an unpleasant odor that was undescribable. Less than five minutes of entering our room the guest next door banged on our door and demanded the following 1. keep the dog quiet 2. stop slamming the doors. He was aggressive and we did not feel safe staying. In addition the screen window had a large tear, the linens were torn and stained and there was a strong odor of marijuana, cigarettes and urine. I shared this with the front desk attendant and instead of being concerned with our safety and trying to make the situation better he blamed us. This made us feel even less safe and we decided to leave without resolution. This establishment is grossly overpriced and if you are concerned with cleanliness and safety do not book a stay."
"#1. They have bed bugs #2. They know they have bed bugs #3. You will be absolutely berated if you ask for a refund I was there for only an hour before we noticed bed bugs. We left and asked for a refund at the desk. They said no but it was midnight and I couldn’t worry about that at the moment. I called a few days later to ask again and could barely get a word in as the woman in the phone defended the cleanliness of the hotel all while condescendingly calling me “honey”. She vacillated between telling me there were no bed bugs and telling me that I brought in the bed bugs. I knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere so I tried to end the call but she slipped in that they had 2 other parties stay in that room after me and no one complained……so that’s what you have to know: they had a bed bug complaint and within 2 days they still put people in that room (rm 225 -scroll down the reviews and you will see it pop up). Don’t stay here. They cheap price is not worth the headache or the price of the items you have to throw out because you fear they now have bed bugs."
"I've stayed at many Red Roof Inns, and many hotels in general. Most Red Roof Inns are nice & decent, this one wasn't up to par. The lady working at the front desk was very nice, but other than that I don't have any good things to say. The whole place smelled pretty bad, either like cigarettes, or very strong products trying to mask other smells. Our room was upstairs and the hallway to the upstairs literally made me feel sick, the smell was overpowering. Our room smelled too, and was not very clean. There were cobwebs in corners, scum in the bathtub, and random pieces of things on the floors. Also our fridge was leaking. We had the king suite. Everything seemed old and dingy, and the place definitely needs some renovations. Our room was adjacent to another room with a locked door in the middle. We could hear the people in the next room as if they were in the room with us. They partied until around 2 in the morning. They also woke us up in the middle of the night, trying to open the door that separated our 2 rooms. That was a little scary, although it was deadbolted and they couldn't open it. Our bed was huge, but under the sheet the mattress was wrapped / taped in a giant piece of plastic, which made a sound whenever we moved...like a diaper. The sheets and blankets seemed clean, but I have to wonder what's gone on in those rooms for them to warrant wrapping the beds like that. The location is right off the highway, and was close to the wedding we were there to attend. If I had known the condition ahead of time I would have scheduled elsewhere. There was also no continental breakfast, or pool."
"Worst experience ever. They don’t even deserve the 1 star. Room was dirty and made me cringe. Pillow cases and sheets had stains on them. Blankets covered with cigarette burn holes. Refrigerator didn’t work and leaked all over the floor. Major safety concerns. Spoke to front desk at 1am as we were leaving due to the safety concerns and they did not care. Spoke to the GM in the morning and she refused to care what I had to say and then proceeded to hang up on me and refused to refund me for the room. Bathrooms were filthy. Just downright gross and would never step foot in this place again."
