"I stumbled upon this gem. I was in the area due to a loved ones Dr appointment and had time for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised as I drove up to the restaurant and saw ocean views. Upon entering the restaurant, a nice cozy vibe came over me. I enjoyed a fluthy omelet prepared to perfection stuffed with fresh produce. I sat in a very comfortable booth with high backs near a window. There was a slight chill that made me wish I sat closer to the fireplace. The servers were pleasant and worked well together. This was a very pleasant experience."

"Great hotel. The staff is incredible. From the valets to check in, maid service, just exceptional. The restaurant is to die for. We had a waiter named Kevin who was the nicest guy I've met in a long time. Per our conversation, we are Ruben sandwich brothers. Rooms are extremely clean and the views are spectacular."

"Came here for lunch, not to stay at the hotel. We've had very good meals here in the past. This time my daughter got adventurous and strayed from her normal plain or chocolate chip pancake order to try the pumpkin pancake and also had an order of sausage. I had the French onion soup and a glass of wine. My soup and wine were excellent. My daughter's pancake did not taste at all like pumpkin. It wasn't plain but it wasn't pumpkin. My daughter said it tasted a little like chapstick. The sausage was more like a kielbasa than a sausage. I didn't hate it but my daughter did. The waitress did ask if everything was okay and my daughter said yes (to avoid conflict). So really they didn't have a chance to make things right since we didn't tell them there was any problem. Service was excellent; our waitress was attentive and food came quickly. Atmosphere is always really nice here. We were a little disappointed that there were no window tables available except for one larger table (for 4 or 5) but they didn't want to seat us there because we were only a party of two. I get that but there were a couple of interior tables/booths that a larger party could have sat at if they came in. I'll be back and if I can get my daughter to come back with me she will stick with the yummy chocolate chip pancakes that she loves."

"What an amazing. I've been there twice now, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast was outstanding and the banana crunch pancakes are the best thing going. The bacon cheeseburger I had for dinner was big handmade and probably the best burger I've had in the entire state of Connecticut. Great friendly staff!!"

"Had a great time here. A bunch of us went for lunch and the whole experience was fun and satisfying. Food is top notch ...best pancakes around by far. My turkey wrap was absolutely delicious. Steak sandwich on Texas toast was amazing. Server was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back."
