"I was amazed when I arrived at the store, the online reviews were very mistaken. The store was clean and organized, they also have a great selection of stuff. The customer service I also experienced when I was there was great, the question I asked the cashier she was very thorough in answering me and also assisting me. Will be coming back… Best Dollar Tree Ever!!!"

"Negative 5 stars! The manager is generally angry and making comments under his breath about customers or staff. Most of the staff is toxic to speak with. I cringe going to the counter about what their mood might be like. Not sure if this is systemic throughout the company and franchises or just this Guilford store. Most recently one of the clerks was so loud and rude to a customer that had a question about her receipt. I could hear the clerk from the other side of the store. Next the clerk went so far as to go on the PA system to announce to the manager, 'See I told you it is a full moon, another crazy just came in here!' She announced this three times because he could not hear her from across the store. I was so appalled by this toxicity that I put my things down and will never go back. That is the final straw for me. That environment as a customer is NOT, as the website notes..."our customers can expect to find an environment where shopping is fun." NOT FUN!!!!"

"NEGATIVE 1000 stars. Absolutely horrible. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I called ahead to make sure it was okay to come down to get three balloons…. The manager told me yes. When I get there the woman at the counter is very busy so I kindly ask her if the gentleman I spoke to is available to help. She rolled her eyes and turned away. Then a man comes out of the back screaming through the store that “I’m going to have to learn” “I need to wait” “he’s on break” “there’s nothing he can do” “these people need to learn”. I was then screamed at outside of the store that he’s on the phone and I need to wait. While he proceeded to smoke a cigarette. So I called for a manager who did nothing. Absolutely disgusting customer service and attitude."

"It’a a good sized dollar store where you can find some fun items for a buck plus things you might need. The staff leaves something to be desired but you only interact with them at checkout. The store is generally neat and tidy. It’s right next to Walmart which is convenient."
