Holiday Inn Express Springfield Downtown, an IHG Hotel 145 State Street, Springfield, MA 01103

"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I gave the manager of the hotel 3 calls to make right by our situation before posting this to give the benefit of the doubt! Instead the hotel manager dodged all my calls and has not returned my messages. The walls are so thin we heard the dog barking next to us for hour plus and people in and out of rooms from 1-2:30am. Not being able to sleep due to the disturbance we decided to check out to find that dogs aren’t even allowed in the hotel, security went to investigate but we weren’t even offered another room or reimbursement for only being there for 4 hours. I tried to get ahold of the manager after being told when checking out at 2:30 am that they would give me a call the next day it’s now 48 hours and nothing resolved."

"Lovely room, roomy room + large comfortable bed. Plush ckair with footstool. Office chair with large table on wheels - stores under TV console. Microwave, minifridge, iron board+ iron Plenty of lighting, including gooseneck reading lamp on each side of bed. A/C. Dove products by sink & shower. Pool, gym , + office center by lobby, restrooms, too Great breakfast in lobby- to 10am. Great WiFi. Near events center, casino, restaurants and public transportation. 15min walk from Amtrak/ intercity bus."

"The staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay as it was a business trip and we are a little needy when it comes to business travels! The hotel is in a great location downtown and even though they don't have valet parking is convenient. The hotel is NOT newly remodeled but is still clean and beds were comfy for our week stay."

"I booked this hotel to attend a college football game near by. The staff was very kind and accommodating even getting me extra pillows without a fuss. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of soap, shampoo, and conditioner available. The bed was comfortable and sheets were very clean. They provided two parking lots which are great to park and walk to the downtown area without having to pay a parking fee. There was free breakfast in the morning which I skipped but free breakfast is always a plus. This hotel is priced perfectly and very convenient I would stay here again if I’m the area!"

"Surprised at how nice this hotel was. The room was clean and spacious, with nice luxuries such as a refrigerator, microwave, and high-pressure shower. Right across the street from the MassMutual Center, making the hotel a no-brainer for anyone attending events there. Also a short walk away from the MGM casino. This first stay at a Holiday Inn has sold me - I would consider this hotel again the next time I visit Springfield."
