"I'm back home for Thanksgiving week and had to get a true Connecticut tuna grinder. No, one makes it like CT and Grand Apizza Madison made the best I've ever had. Love their nee haven style pizza as well. Totally winner anything you get."

"This place truly is a gem. The building is on Main Street, with frontage on the road, a side walking path, and outdoor seating in the rear on the patio. They have managed to keep both the small intimate feeling of the original dining room and the hip trendy dining experience on the bar side. This place is fantastic for new haven style a-pizza "ahbeats" thin and crispy with a wonderful light char on top and bottom of crusts. They serve all traditional itilallian fare alongside pizza house staples. I may suggest to be patient, both when calling In or ordering inside. If you get a busy signal or a message saying the lines are down, keep trying back! They constantly have all the lines full, and don't be surprised to be greeted with a request to please hold. They WILL get back to you. All of the local Madison residents and travelers through make this a very busy location, but the food and friendly staff are worth the wait!!"

"The flavor of the pizza and stuffed pasta was not terrible; however, three things detractef from our experience: 1) Ordered a dinner that included bread. It was delivered without bread by the waitress who immediately noticed and asked if I wanted bread. I replied that I did. She never came back to the table until it was time to deliver the check. 2) Visited the men's bathroom and noticed there was no soap. It has been empty for some time as the dispenser has water in it where someone has tried to get all of the remnants. When I exited, a cook entered, spent several minutes inside, then returned to preparing food. 3) My significant other and I have had severe GI issues today (the day after our meal). Perhaps unrelated to #2, but it makes me wonder...."

"The pizza here was super delicious and my entire family really enjoyed it! The staff was so kind and helpful with sitting paper plates/napkins for us to be able to enjoy the pizza at the beach! I can't wait to return in the future!"

"We have been exploring restaurants on the Shoreline lately and we grabbed take out from Grand Apizza last night. We had white broccoli, pepperoni, plain mozzarella and sauce with chicken. All pizzas were very flavorful. The crust was cooked excellent! Staff at pick up were friendly. Will be back again."
