"Title: A Horrifying Experience in a Roach-Infested Inn I'm usually quite forgiving when it comes to lodging, but my recent stay at this so-called "housing apartment inn" left me in utter dismay. The utter disregard for cleanliness, paired with the shockingly callous customer service, was truly disappointing. - The most egregious problem was the presence of roaches in the room - a clear indication of poor sanitation. Even worse, the management merely brushed it off as if it was a norm! When we confronted them about the insect infestation, their response was utterly appalling. Their claim that roaches are acceptable because it's a "housing apartment inn" was far from satisfactory. - But the horror did not end there. The very next day, we found ourselves charged a whopping $200 for a smoking fee, despite not having smoked in the room. When we questioned this charge, they provided no evidence, simply stating the room "stunk." This was all the more perplexing as we had always exited the inn for our occasional cigarette breaks, often walking past the front desk. - It feels like this false charge was an unjust retaliation for our rightful complaints about the unsanitary conditions. Despite our attempts to maintain a fair dialogue, their approach was nothing short of wicked. - Adding insult to injury, when we reported them to the health board, they boldly claimed that it doesn't apply because they are a "private business". This showed a shocking lack of understanding - private businesses are still obliged to meet health and safety regulations. - Sadly, the one-star rating of this inn is completely justified, and it's a place only suited for those with absolutely no other option. The management's Susan Daley whom is the general Manager disregard for basic cleanliness and their handling of legitimate customer complaints was beyond disappointing. This was a truly regrettable experience, and I would caution others to steer clear of this establishment."
"Ok this was a surprise, a little gem hidden among motels and such. Guest services are so nice and helpful and the amenities in the room are awesome. We had a whole kitchenette, the hot tub and pool was deff a plus and we were 15 mins from 6 flags. Everything you need is five mins away from the hotel."
"My husband and I stayed here last month. Good things first- the location was good because the parking lot had entrances and exits on both sides so you weren’t stuck having to deal with the 5. The room had newer countertops in the bathroom and kitchen and there was a giant peninsula that separated the kitchen and living room which was nice. Everything else sucked. The door to the room didn’t close unless you slammed it and it was hard to open. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The windows were really small so the rooms were dark. There was something wrong with the living room window so cars going by made really weird, annoying noises (it was closed and locked). The room was somewhat run down looking other than the countertops. When I made the reservation, I nicely requested a top floor room. I’m really, really sensitive to noise and I know it’ll be a problem for me which is why I request a top floor. I know requests aren’t guaranteed but I’ve never had a hotel not honor that request. This hotel did not honor it and we had a herd of elephants who liked rearranging furniture in the room above us. Whoever was up there did not sit down, ever. They also didn’t seem to go to sleep. The noise was near constant. After 2 days of that, we asked the front desk if they were going to have any top floor rooms available and the lady was incredibly unhelpful and acted annoyed that I had interrupted her TV watching. She didn’t try to check and told us we would have to ask the next day. At that point we were done and found a new hotel. We were supposed to stay another 5 nights and unfortunately we didn't get a refund but the new hotel was so much better. I honestly don’t know how this hotel is getting so many good reviews. Either people are getting paid to write them or they’ve never experienced a good hotel before. I do not recommend this place."
"I needed a break from the world. I just wanted a hotel with a hot tub and a comfortable bed. This place exceeded my expectations! I had a room with a kitchen; it even had a dishwasher! Every person I interacted with was polite. Everything was super clean. I really liked the Dove brand soap & hair products! Usually I just use my own products because hotel products are often too aromatic for me."
