"We stayed 2 nights for a family event. Even though they are renovating, the room was clean, warm, and the bed & pillows were comfy, and it was quiet. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and accessible. We absolutely recommend this place!"

"We were looking for a place to stay while visiting relatives. This place had decent reviews and was a better price point than where we usually stay. Our expectations were exceeded. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we liked have a table and chairs in the room (which I used to wrap Christmas presents for family.) Very basic breakfast, but the food area was clean and met a need. This is an area we visit frequently. We will definitely stay here again."

"I was here last week, Everytime I come I get treated with amazing service. The remodeled room looked amazing. Comfortable bed, shower, towels. Everything was perfect. I recommend when you’re in the rocky hill area to stop by and book a room. It’s worth it. Last time i visited was months ago, I was recognized this time when I visited I felt very welcomed and more comfortable as a guest. Very friendly and accommodating. I will stay here each time I visit the area"

"Checked in unplanned after another hotel down the road didn't hold our phone reservation. Glad they didn't. This HJ was a pleasant and cozy stay! Clean & spacious room; hot shower; QUIET climate control; and comfortable beds. Our small group was grateful for the good night sleep. "I have lived in mansions, and I have lived in tents. Imported Italian marble is nice. A nearly leak-proof tent is nice, but what makes a time special is the people. The bed is comfortable, everything is convenient, clean, and problem free, but the people actually do treat you like a guest. Very nice folks."
