Motel 6 Branford, CT - New Haven 320 East Main Street, Branford, CT 06405

"Stayed at the Branford motel 6 for 9 nights and was highly disappointed. The rooms had a weird unpleasant smell and our blankets/sheets had cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. The 2 female receptionists were too worried about being on their phones then actually doing their jobs. The shower would take forever to drain so it’d still be sitting in there long after getting out. The cleaning lady seemed nice but started knocking on the door around 9:30am then again around 10-10:15am when checkout isn’t until 12pm then we started carrying bags to car and she asked if we were done and I said no and she said okay then we came back to grab some more of our stuff then again she asked if we were done so we said no but we’re almost done and by the time we came back (not even 5 mins) she was already in our room mind you it was 11am so we still had an hour until checkout and she was in there rushing us while we still had our stuff in there and had went in there without us present and the whole situation was very weird and uncomfortable. Definitely do not think this hotel was worth the money that we spent."

"The manager Glorivee is absolutely amazing!! She is so friendly, and goes above and beyond to try to accommodate guests! The front desk staff is also very friendly, greeting you with a smile. Especially Glenda, she is just a sweetheart. All the wonderful cleaning ladies work very hard and clearly take pride in their work, as the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Nice affordable place. The staff make it great."

"My boyfriend and I traveled from Florida, and our flight got in late. I had booked a reservation but didn’t realize that people weren’t allowed to be let in after 10pm. The front desk women Glenda was extremely helpful and let us in so we could check in. She was very polite and kind. She made the check in process go very smoothly even though it was late at night."

She provided all of the necessary information needed to book a room in the most comfortable way possible. When I need rest from being on the road I recommend staying at motel 6 in branford. The room was clean the water gets hot and the heat works fine. I'm certainly looking forward to stay again soon. Thank you"
