"Good Part first: food was very good. Everyone enjoyed meals and most of us took home extra - portions were plentiful. Bad: service extremely slow. No menus given (had to ask) before telling us specials. Forgot drinks several times. Waitress was definitely rushed and made us feel rushed too. I overheard another customer telling her to slow down because they weren’t in a hurry. Last thing: park is atrocious. I guess that’s because they had a full restaurant so there must be something here that we missed on our first visit. Will consider going back but there’s other options to try first."

"Stopped in for an early dinner after the Thomaston Train with my wife, 3 year old child and in-laws. The server was knowledgeable as it relates to Celiac / gluten free and easily accommodated the person in our party with the allergy. I got the lasagna which was gigantic and fantastic. I’m not a fan of spinach and it was still great. Everyone enjoyed their meal and prices seemed reasonable for the quality"

"The food & drinks were excellent. Great wait staff & bartenders. The place itself is very small, dark and parking only on local streets. The floor was somewhat slippery with a staircase down to the private room for functions. Somewhat cramped & would recommend no more than 30 people for a gathering. Highly recommend for a dinner date in the upstairs."

"I visited La Tavola for a family dinner right before Valentine’s Day (a little delayed on this review, oops) and was able to take part in some of their amazing Valentine’s specials, like the lamb chops and fun desserts that were offered. We were seated downstairs, and I really liked the vibe of the restaurant. Two of my family members ordered the lasagna bolognese, and we were completely shocked at the massive block that came out! Every meal we had was fantastic, and I’ll be keeping them in mind for Valentine’s or other holiday meals in addition to hopefully visiting more often!"
