Reviews of Alberto's
"Food and service is always fantastic! The pizza and chicken alferdo are my top two favorites. Absolutely delicious and made fresh all the time!"
"Not as good as they used to be. I was really upset with them today as I got take out and the staff couldn’t even properly close the container of stuffed mushrooms and everything leaked all over my shirt and burned me. The portions are smaller than ever. Pizza is not very good. Their best attribute is their pasta dishes. The restaurant is at the DEAD tri-town plaza and feels so old and beat up. All I can say is they are not what they used to be and need to improve or many regular patrons won’t be going anymore. Me included."
"My go to place for local Italian! Awesome food, great people working there- they really treat you like family. Service is fast whether you dine in, pickup, or order delivery. Delivery fees are so reasonable if you order directly from their website. Highly recommend!"
"this is my second time coming here, after loving it the first time, and the service was an absolute joke. it’s a saturday evening and the restaurant is probably a little less than half full, yet that shouldn’t matter since there were about five or six people on shift. it takes us roughly seven minutes (about a few minutes in i start timing it out of curiosity), to even get greeted or provided with menus (no, we did not seat ourselves) all while we see employees standing around. who we presumed was our server, apologized for our wait, grabbed our drink orders, which came out instantly. 14 minutes later, a guy comes up to our table and says nothing more than, “hey.” it was only the notepad in hand that gave it away that he was here to take our order, after being taken aback because we thought the other guy was our server. cool, he takes our orders, takes a while to come out (which i am not upset over, even if the place was relatively empty, the kitchen could be getting swamped w takeout orders), and the food is disappointing. one of our sides included pasta with marinara- something so simple it should be almost virtually impossible to mess up, but you’d be amazed. it was doused w oil, so much so that the sauce was not even able to stick to the pasta. the pizza was equally greasy, but the toppings were generous- i will give them that. after dropping off the food, the person who took our food made sure we had everything we needed, and was solely attentive at the point. minutes roll by, the server that took our drink orders walks by, doesn’t acknowledge us, and touches a table that had recently gotten bussed (presumably to see if it got wiped). then the second guy came up to check on us, mid meal, and offered us boxes. at this point, we don’t feel welcomed, so we accept- he offers the bill, which we also take. meanwhile, we overhear a nearby table claiming, “that’s the third guy to ask us if we needed boxes in the past five minutes.” it is very clear that pushing people out is a common theme, and there is a major lack of communication in an otherwise small establishment. come here if you like to feel unwelcome and rushed out… it took the staff less time to offer us boxes upon food coming out than it did to actually take our orders. i genuinely did not see the need when there was no need to flip tables when the place was pretty empty. highly disappointed."
"I’ve lived in the area for 2 years now and have been struggling to find a go to pizza place.. until discovering this hidden gem! The pizza crust has great flavor, the chicken wings are crispy and full of meat & the tiramisu is incredible (and huge!).. I’ve ordered 3 times this month!"
