"Dr. Anne Hero, her dental assistant Vivian, and her receptionist Karen are all incredibly kind. After years of searching, I was so pleased to find a private practice dentist who accepts Medicaid. I was initially told by other dentists that because of cavities in my wisdom teeth, they should be removed. When I expressed my concerns to Dr. Hero, she agreed that there was no reason to remove my wisdom teeth. She said the cavities were very small and that filling them would be just fine. When the time arrived to fill my cavities, I was swabbed with a topical numbing agent and talked through each step by Dr. Hero. Vivian was very attentive to Dr. Hero's instructions and they both made me feel as comfortable as possible. The procedure was painless and took less than half an hour. I was able to eat right after I left with no downtime which was a plus. Karen at the front desk is very sweet and has a great sense of humor. She is on top of scheduling and is very knowledgeable about insurance as well. My partner and I lovingly refer to her as my "new friend". Thank you to all of the staff for such a pleasant experience. From far away, it looks like your basic side of the road grass lot but upon closer inspection, there was about twenty butterflies and a stream. It is so peaceful and well cared for. (Just another little perk to this office!)"
