Locust Tree Bed & Breakfast

"If you are looking for a decent, basic, inexpensive bed to sleep in overnight then it's just great. A group of us stayed in several rooms/bathroom combos over several days. None were even remotely clean, with deep dust and grime, cobwebs. The hosts seemed gruff but were pleasant in conversation. The outdoor porch was pleasant but again filthy furniture. This is a basic breakfast and we didn't leave hungry.Think coffee, eggs, bacon, toast (other options available) We were there for the location but not a destination spot."

"This was a very nice place to stay! The rooms were clean, and had a good amount of space. There is a very nice porch around both floors of the house with comfortable chairs and a hammock. The host was friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast. Would recommend this as a good place to stay in the Western CT area"

On a cold April New England night this was a cozy place to sleep. The grounds are well-kept and the front porch looks out over the Northern hills of Connecticut."

"Heidi is the perfect host at this wonderful B&B. Her place is clean, the bed comfortable and the location ideal. We were visiting for an event at Lime Rock Park. The renovation she and her husband performed added modern touches but kept the old style charm. Our room had wide board flooring. Breakfast is cooked to order, and Heidi has good stories to share about life."
