"I went to Dr. Wade for several years and was very happy with the dental hygienist. I have some cavities that were filled when I was a teenager 30+ years ago and have had very few issues with them. Dr. Wade said that one of my fillings was in bad shape and that I needed to get a crown. He had already done a crown on another tooth and I wasn't too excited to go through that again. I didn't feel any discomfort and decided to put it off. The next visit was a cleaning 6 months later and he brought it up again, and again I did not get the crown done. Then at my next appointment, he brought it up again and this time he seemed visibly annoyed at me and I didn't like the tone at all. I went home and made an appointment with another dentist to get a second opinion. The other dentist said that the tooth was fine and she did a small filling to fix the problem. That was probably about 4 or 5 years ago and it turns out that I really didn't need that crown after all, and my new dentist is great. I will always get a second opinion when a dentist tells me I need expensive dental work."
