"I came to NP Family Dental for a second opinion after being advised by a different dentist that my kids and I needed thousands of dollars worth of dental services. Hygienist Peter Kraus was friendly, professional and thorough during my exam and cleaning, disagreeing with the pricey diagnosis given by the other dentist’s hygienist. My kids’ hygienist Nina was great as well, taking time to answer my questions. Dr. Trung Nguyen was equally professional and thorough. While their diagnosis was far more positive, it did contain some precautions for me and my kids to keep an eye on that the other dentist hadn’t even mentioned. From my experience, using a dentist with a private practice these days will get you a more realistic diagnosis since it’s the dentist’s name at stake, as opposed to a faceless company with a staff of various dentist and hygienists who are looking to make as much as possible off of every patient using scare tactics and exaggerated stats. I’m not looking for a dentist who makes patients feel good at the expense of ignoring potential issues, just an explanation of factual findings, what they mean, and the pros and cons of various treatments. I feel I got that at NP Family Dental and plan on returning in 6 months with my whole family."
