Der Allwetterzoo in Münster ist ein Ort, an dem sich Besucher jeden Alters über die Vielfalt der Tierwelt informieren und begeistern lassen können. Im Jahr 2023 gab es viele aufregende Neuigkeiten im Zoo, darunter die Geburt von zwei Tigerwelpen und die Ankunft von Amérie, einem lauten Riesenotter. Außerdem wurden bedrohte Vögel in Kambodscha ausgewildert und das Artenschutzzentrum des Zoos hat einen verletzten Lappengeier erfolgreich gepflegt und in die Wildnis entlassen. Die Ausstellung zum Thema Wildtierhandel informiert die Besucher über die Bedrohung, die der illegale Handel für den Artenschutz darstellt. Der Allwetterzoo Münster hat außerdem einen Masterplan bis 2030 verabschiedet, der umfangreiche Umbauten und Modernisierungen vorsieht. Besucher können auch virtuell eine Safari durch Namibia erleben und gleichzeitig den Artenschutz in Afrika unterstützen. Mit all diesen aufregenden Entwicklungen und Veranstaltungen bietet der Allwetterzoo Münster ein einzigartiges und lehrreiches Erlebnis für alle Tierliebhaber.
