"Myself and an old friend (traitor) have made many a paid business trip to this Iconic Dunedin location, a truly carthartic experience! Some would be turned off by the smell. however, much like how the best Devil's lettuce smells like some form of Guano, I believe the same is true of a good trash palace. The hoard of seagulls and various other sea birds make the entire occasion feel more like a leisurely experience at one of New Zealand's lower tier wildlife sanctuary's. Bonus points to all the workers there who give you the most sturdy thumbs up out the window as you drive off."
"What an outfit 34min an no answer these guys need reviewed, not sure what the hold up is,ok hastings n gisborne been affected with the cyclone an flooding,I don't wish that upon no one in this country.I didn't know the dunedin area phone number is a call center number either (034771700)So therefore the staff I was speaking to couldn't help me after waiting 40min total,as she couldn't locate the skip I hired on Saturday,it's currently still at the address I live at,this company needs to address this issue , I will not be doing business with this company. Not to mention the delivery time very poor, better late that never."
"Literally the worst service i have ever experienced. This business has gone rapidly downhill over the years. They lie about picking up missed rubbish bins, then lie some more. I can not state strong enough just how unreliable they are, and their call center staff utterly useless."
"Not a nice experience, after calling them and confirming they can service our property, I've payed, then prompt delivery of the bin, but soon after I've received an email, telling me that they can't pick up the bin from the address, and asked me drop the bin for collection half way on the street, that mean I have to walk up the hill 200m with the bin to place it where is convenient for them. I'm paying for a pick up service from my address not my neighbor, which they confirmed they are servicing. They been fast on picking the bin up( like 2 hours later), one site manager came to the house after sending a very unhappy email back. He told me that is health in safety issues and because of it they can't come all the way down the street to our house - aren't trucks equip will all fancy cameras and all the tech??? Now, 2 mths on I'm still waiting for my refund, I sent few emails to them asking when my money will be refunded. If you have extra cash and rubbish that wont be picked up, go with Waste management. I should be able to give 0 stars as that's what they truly deserve."
"Honestly the worse service I've ever experienced in a "professional" company. My bin gets picked up every week from the same spot then all of a sudden "the bin is unreachable". How can the bin just suddenly be unreachable when it gets emptied from the same spot every week with no obstruction by vehicles?. That was just one problem not including how difficult it was to get a recollection! I had one set up for the next day after I called and surprise surprise they never emptied it. Another day goes by and guess what? Like angels sent down from heaven the bin was emptied! This was so much stress that was definitely not needed! My partner and I only have the small bin so we really desperately needed it collected asap as we had more rubbish but no rubbish bin! Unfortunately there seems to be poor communication and mismanagement between their drivers, managers and admin team as it seriously reflects in the quality of service we receive as consumers."
