Our institution is dedicated to providing correct and proven self defence and combative training, led by none other than Geoff "Tank" Todd, a highly esteemed Army Special Operations Close Combat Master Chief Instructor. With his expertise and experience, you can be assured that you will receive top-notch training from a military Close Quarters Battle Master Instructor.

Not only do we cater to civilians, but we also offer specialist training for law enforcement officers, security personnel, crowd controllers, and doormen. We are proud to be New Zealand's Urban Self Defence & Military Unarmed Combat Specialists, offering the country's only elite forces combatives training for civilians.

At the School of Self Defence, we understand the importance of continuous learning and improvement. That is why we offer an annual International Close Quarter Battle Course, which includes Phase 3 exponent continuation training from Thursday, March 15th to Saturday, March 17th, 2012. Additionally, we provide Phase 3 instructor training from Sunday, March 18th to Saturday, March 24th, 2012, as well as Phase 1 & 2 training during the same dates.
