"Beautiful drive around the center of Dunedin, amidst the trees and native bush with many wonderful views of the city"
"Wild(ish) woods within a few minutes walk of Dunedin Town centre. A good couple of hours leisurely walk from one end to the other. A spacious children's playground at the northern end as well as lovely park for all ages."
"Great place to walk, take in the views and enjoy some greenery."
"Like most things in Dunedin, it looks nice, but serves very little point. Because the priority of Dunedin residents seems to be mostly holding onto their overly expensive property, buying more and not doing anything for the larger community. But yea, it's nice to run through or drive I guess. Because oh yeah another thing is, dunedin is a place that requires you to own a car, because the public transport is completely limited and stops in arbitrary places outside of the city centre. So yeah the town belt has lots of trees, it's historical, it probably would be really good if it was a bigger park or a green area like what wellington has in the centre of it (Zealandia). But nah, just another wasted opportunity in a city that residents think is perfect, but outsiders think is pretty but dead. So I guess it's somewhere in between."
