Welcome to No8 Distillery, located at 4 Hanover Street in Dunedin, New Zealand. Our establishment is not just your average bar or liquor store, but a true point of interest for spirit enthusiasts.

At No8 Distillery, we take pride in offering unique and limited edition spirits that you won't find anywhere else. One of our most exciting offerings is the No8 Pineapple Rum Elixir, a limited edition with only 200 bottles available. Dispatched in November, this rum elixir combines 8 botanics to create a flash-bang of orange, cardamom, and a hint of pepper. It's a New Zealand Dry with a bushy, herby profile and a remarkably smooth finish.

What sets us apart is our commitment to foraging native plants, herbs, and flowers in Dunedin and Central Otago. Our distiller, Julien, personally takes care to gather these unique ingredients, resulting in a spirits experience like no other. While not a Pink Gin, our Pineapple Rum Elixir offers a delicate floral note with a bittersweet marmalade taste.

This little green fairy is not to be underestimated. It is ripped and holds the title of undisputed French MMA champion. It's also a family recipe that has been perfected since 1926. When you take a sip, a thick liquid tangy lolly washes over your tongue, and the sweet citrus of lemons is softened into a wide body of taste through the two varietals zested. You'll also notice soft aniseed on the nose, reminiscent of olde world sweet shops and smoker lollies. There's even a lite breath of Greece in the Otago Peninsula.

The No8 Distillery experience goes beyond just enjoying our spirits. We offer a unique opportunity to join our master distiller, Julien, for a fully immersive foraging experience. This exclusive half-day adventure allows you to discover the secrets of Aotearoa and learn how to use native plants in spirits. During a small hike around Dunedin, Julien will teach you about the plants and flowers he forages, and the journey will culminate at our distillery, where you'll get to witness the distillation process using these native ingredients.
