The Creative Place

Welcome to The Creative Place, located in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, Papamoa, New Zealand. As a local artist from New Zealand, I am passionate about feminism and it is a driving force behind my artwork. Inspired by my own experiences as a woman and the stories of others, my paintings and charcoal drawings convey a powerful message. With an intuitive and expressive process, my art has been showcased in group exhibitions and I had the privilege of hosting my first solo exhibition last year. Each child is valued for their individual style, and our small class sizes ensure quality teaching and a nurturing environment. Our lessons cover a range of visual art genres, media, and techniques, catering to children aged 5 to 14 years old.

In addition to our regular workshops, we also offer school-based lessons. Whether you're interested in one-off workshops or a series of work for your school, I encourage you to get in touch. As a fully qualified primary school teacher, I have experience in both primary schools and preschools. I have successfully implemented school-wide art programs, incorporating various media and genres of art while ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience.
