The clean rinse water, which is not recycled, is used in every wash cycle at least twice. Wondering if you can wash feather or down duvets at our laundromat? The answer is yes! You can use a minimum 18kg washer and check the care label first. Most feather duvets can be washed on a gentle warm cycle or normal warm cycle and dried in our dryers on high temperature. To aid in the drying process, we recommend placing 2 clean tennis balls in the dryer, as they help break up the feathers and down.

When it comes to temperature, our hot wash cycle reaches a maximum of 60-65 degrees, while our dryers operate at the highest temperature of 87 degrees. However, we always advise checking the care label first for specific washing instructions.

If you have animal blankets that need washing, we have you covered. Many of our laundromats have dedicated animal blanket washers, equipped with 28kg super large washers and special pet blanket wash cycles. For those wondering about using bleach, it can be used to wash duvets, but only if the filling is feather or down (not wool). We recommend using a warm gentle wash cycle for safety or, if you're willing to take some risk, a hot wash cycle. Wool items, on the other hand, can be washed on a cold gentle wash cycle (Cycle 5) but cannot be tumble dried. They should be air-dried, preferably flat.

If you have wool-filled duvets or woolrests, they can be washed, but it's crucial to use a gentle cold cycle. These items cannot be dried and should be air-dried only.
