In today's challenging times, we understand that many families are facing tight budgets and high bills. However, at Family Works, you are not alone. We are here to support children, young people, and their families to be safe, strong, and connected.

Our range of services includes social work, a foodbank, emergency response, financial mentoring, parenting support, youth development, and community development programs. We believe in the importance of building a strong community, and our programs reflect this commitment.

We understand that financial hardship is a significant issue facing many individuals and families. Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) witnesses this scourge every day. As the cost of living continues to rise, more vulnerable individuals and whānau seek our help.

One of our annual initiatives is the Octacan foodbank appeal. This event brings together people of all ages in Dunedin who generously donate cans of food to support those in need. It is heartwarming to see the community come together to make a difference.

We also value the collective energies and mana of volunteers in Aotearoa. Meet Neil Burrow, one of our dedicated volunteers at Stepping Stones, Dunedin. Neil is a busy man, but he still finds the time to give back to the community through his volunteer work.
