Beginnings & Beyond Quality Preschool

Beginnings & Beyond Quality Preschool is a highly regarded early childhood center located in the beautiful suburb of Papamoa Beach, in New Zealand. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can freely explore, experiment, and follow their own interests.

At Beginnings & Beyond, we believe in the importance of incorporating Te Ao Māori me ō nga Tikanga Māori (the Māori world and Māori customs) into our daily practices. Our passionate educators work closely with families and whanau (extended family) to ensure that language, culture, and identity are fostered and celebrated.

Our curriculum is designed to provide children with a wide range of experiences, both within our center and in the wider community. We regularly take our tamariki (children) on excursions to local parks, reserves, libraries, shops, and even our community garden. We also organize special trips to the beach and local marae (Māori meeting grounds) to further enrich their learning.

Our team of qualified and experienced educators are passionate about working alongside tamariki and fostering strong relationships based on the principles of tuakana/teina (older sibling/younger sibling). We believe in the value of ako (reciprocal learning) and strive to create a natural whānau (family) environment where children feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
