At the Medical & Injury Centre, we prioritize your wellbeing and understand the importance of maintaining good mental and physical health. Our aim is to provide you with the tools and support to strengthen your overall wellbeing and enhance your quality of life.

We believe that feeling good and functioning well go hand in hand, and we encourage you to prioritize your mental wellbeing. Building and nurturing relationships is vital to our wellbeing. Our loved ones provide us with a sense of value, purpose, and love, which contributes to our overall happiness. Additionally, staying physically active has numerous benefits for both our bodies and our mental state. Whether it's going for a walk, dancing around the house, or engaging in any form of movement, it can make a real difference in how we feel.
We also encourage you to take a moment to appreciate the world around you. By being mindful and present, you can find peace and tranquility in the simplest of moments. Understanding your own culture and embracing diversity can also contribute to your sense of identity and belonging.
Spirituality, in whatever form it may take for you, can provide sustenance and meaning in your life. Furthermore, spending time in nature has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and improve physical health. So, why not step outside and enjoy the beauty of green spaces?
In addition to our commitment to your wellbeing, we also provide essential healthcare services such as flu vaccinations. The flu vaccine we offer for New Zealand's 2023 flu season protects against four strains of the flu virus. It is carefully formulated each year based on the strains predicted to cause flu in both the Southern and Northern Hemispheres.

"His wife was rude on the phone when I rung them the second time that pharmacy didn't get prescription. She said to me that I am not the only one here, there are hundreds of people. Also asked prescription for my sore throat and I got Paracetamol and nosal spray for $25 prescription. I needed some antibiotics and not Paracetamol."
"Outstanding. Dr Beacham and his nurse were excellent. I thought it was 24 hours but it closed at 2000. He saw anyway well in closing. He did a good assessment and gave me medication from stock to help me as the pharmacies were closed. He is a great doctor and a caring person. Would recommend!"
"Dr Beacham and his team are amazing. They went above and beyond for our 1 year old son who was feeling poorly while we were in Hastings on holiday. While Dr's are extremely stretched we were never made to feel like we were an inconvenience and Lachlan was treated with respect. Thank you very much."
"Totally useless The receptionist is really rude and arrogant. Got No manners how to talk with patients. Doctor won't listen to the patient properly. Have to wait hours after the actual appointment time. Doctor will only say i can't do anything for your problem. Really unprofessional . Would give them negative rating. Don't go there. Unfortunately, cannot change the gp due to the health system."
"Dr Beacham was very rude and condescending. Not at all interested in helping me with my problems. Literally told me that he wouldn't do anything for me today because he is "too busy", i would have to make another appointment before anything could actually be done. And i was made to pay up front before he saw me. He was also very judgemental about my condition and went into an angry rant about how "buggered" i was before i had even had a chance to explain my full medical history. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. 0/10, would not recommend to anyone, only reason i went there is because no other doctors were taking patients and the Hastings Health Center directed me to go there, only reason im giving 1 star is because i can't give 0."
