Welcome to Kelt Capital, a boutique New Zealand investment banking business located in Havelock North, Te Mata Road. Established in 1987 by Sam Kelt, Kelt Capital was created with the aim of adding value to the business and capital structure of private sector market leaders. With over 30 years of experience, we specialize in Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt and Equity Structuring, and Project Design and Implementation.

Throughout our history, Kelt Capital has been at the forefront of dynamic deal-making, creating industry-leading opportunities for our clients. In recent years, we have strategically invested in industries that we believe are fundamental to New Zealand's identity and economic prosperity, as well as our clients' and partners' commercial endeavors. Our expertise extends to the timber and carbon industries, where we have built our own forestry portfolio across the North Island.

The Kelt family has a rich history in Bloodstock sale and purchase, breeding, and racing for four generations. We are excited to be involved in the world of competitive organized video gaming, known as Esports, which is a billion-dollar industry attracting growing investments. As a leading investment banking institution, we provide specialized advice and implementation for Mergers and Acquisitions, supporting clients in acquiring and merging businesses to achieve efficiency, industry rationalization, dominance, and value growth.

Our Debt and Equity structuring advice aims to streamline, strengthen, and provide growth platforms for our clients' balance sheets, enabling them to maximize strategic and commercial opportunities. Additionally, we design and implement our own projects through the raising of debt and/or equity, taking advantage of specific strategic commercial opportunities. In many cases, we also participate as an investment partner in these projects.

We have led various community sponsorship initiatives, enabling talented individuals to excel on the world stage and supporting schools in their respective ambitions. Notable initiatives include the creation of Kelt Capital Stakes, Kelt Capital Horse Of The Year, and sponsorship of the Kelt Capital Magpies.

Our sponsorship of Emma Twigg, from her time at Hastings Girls High School to becoming the 2014 Rowing World Champion, is a testament to our commitment.
