Welcome to Whakaruruhau Ltd, located at 56A Cutten Street in Dunedin, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, our mission is to support the intellectual, emotional, and social development of our whānau (family) based on our core values.

One of the ways we make our programs accessible to the community is by offering them for free and open to everyone. We are excited to announce that Whakaruruhau will be hosting Beginners and Intermediate levels of Boxing and Fitness, facilitated by Vijay Aryal who has over 9 years of experience. Participants will engage in drills to improve their strength and conditioning, as well as develop confidence in their footwork, such as shifting weight and pivoting. If you are interested in improving your fitness and learning how to box, this is the perfect program for you. To register for boxing, please click the link below and fill in the registration form.

In addition, we are proud to offer the Kanihani program, a whānau-oriented space where people of all ages, genders, and fitness levels can come to get active. Facilitated by Metuaariki Paniora, this program incorporates Cook Island dancing. Join us at Bathgate Park School, 213 Macandrew Road, South Dunedin. For those interested in learning about the "Art of Marching," facilitated by Julz Whaanga who has 10 years of experience, we invite you to join us at Bathgate Park School every Monday from 5:30 - 6:30pm. Julz is excited to share her journey and pass on the foundations of marching to any whānau who are interested. To register for the Art of Marching program, click the registration link below.

Take a hikoi (journey) in the nahere (bush) with kaumatua (elder) Hata Temo to learn about rongoa (traditional Māori medicine) and the best places to find it! If you are interested in having us run a workshop for you, please reach out and we can set up a time.
