Wakari Dog Park
About the Business
Welcome to Wakari Dog Park, located at 19 Wakari Road in Dunedin, New Zealand. This establishment is more than just a park; it is a point of interest where you and your furry friends can enjoy a fun-filled day outdoors.
At Wakari Dog Park, we understand the importance of providing a safe and enjoyable environment for both dogs and their owners. Our park is specifically designed to cater to the needs of dogs, with ample space for them to run, play, and socialize with other four-legged companions. With lush green grass, shady trees, and designated areas for off-leash play, our park is the perfect place for dogs to burn off energy and have a blast.
But that's not all - Wakari Dog Park is also committed to being a responsible and engaged member of the Dunedin community. We believe in creating a positive impact beyond our park's boundaries. For instance, we actively encourage the public to share their feedback on proposed speed limit changes in Dunedin, aimed at reducing the risk of road crashes. We believe that by involving the community in important decisions, we can work together to create a safer environment for everyone.
Additionally, we are proud to support the creation of an adaptation plan for South Dunedin. We understand the challenges that water, land, and climate change can pose to the community, and we are dedicated to being a part of the solution. By distributing informative flyers to South Dunedin residents, we aim to raise awareness about these issues and encourage residents to actively participate in the creation of a plan that will protect and enhance their community's future.
So, whether you're looking for a place to let your furry friend roam freely or seeking to make a difference in the Dunedin community, Wakari Dog Park is the perfect destination. Join us at 19 Wakari Road, and together, let's create a vibrant, inclusive, and safe environment for all.

Reviews
"Really large area with agility areas and some walking tracks"
"Steep is the word best describes. Not crowded which can be a plus. Good street parking adjacent to entry gate."
"Great safe place for dogs to explore off lead with a small agility course"
"Great dog park with plenty of things to sniff and explore. Double gate on the roadside entrance for safety and the park is fully enclosed. Dog friendly water fountain, small bush walking tracks within the enclosed areas, a creek at the bottom and x2 agility courses. Let our pups play here for about 40 minutes and they were exhausted. Highly recommend!"
