"Easily accessible by car, with a short walk to river. 4wd access to water. Shallow pools good for kids. Lovely spot for a picnic or to take the dogs for a swim. NB signs indicate you should check before swimming as they may let water through from upstream. **River floods and becomes inaccessible after heavy rain."
"A good walk (3h return) with ups and downs following the Taieri river. Can be slippery, as the terrain is patched with rocks."
"This is a good walking track and also a perfect place for family walk with kids and dogs. You get to see amazing lake/river. It took us almost 3 hours to finish the walk (with return). Generally, it's a hard track as it's mostly flat but there parts that are steep. I will definitely recommend this."
