"This is a good place to relax after a long Drive. Great View of Napier Habour and Coast. Freedom Camping spots available with amenities close, but do not set a tent next to your Self-contained Vehicle for that Xtra person. $200 Fine I received, as I didn't know the Rules on Freedom Camping. Otherwise a good place to Go, even for Fishing ."

"Lovely park area at the entrance to the Ahuriri Estuary. There is a beautiful beach here for swimming, public toilets, an old light house, plenty of parking and five large chairs in different colours for photo opportunities or to sit and enjoy the view. Nice spot to come for a walk or a bike ride or to just sit and watch the boats coming and going from the harbour."
