Napier Beach

"Lovely place! Great for a walk with family and friends or for a run anytime of the day. The is a variety of choice between cafes, ice cream stands, restaurants or even the national aquarium of New Zealand located on the beachfront. The beach has a smooth pebble shoreline rather than traditional sand which makes for a one of a kind walk along the beach. Walking through the stones with the crashing waves is somewhat therapeutic while surrounded by the stunning views of the town and surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this destination for any kind of visitor."
