"On behalf of my wife, I think the Staff could have assisted as you would expect from a customer focused retail business. My wife was not happy after visiting which angered me, as she is pregnant and was shopping for items to suit. She described to me that the Staff obviously had friends in the store and were chatting….but not aware that my wife was a paying customer and interested in their products. I was specifically asked to drive her into town to their store and was told to “leave it” after offering to go into the store to ask for decent service as I could see she was a little distressed. I’m sure it wasn’t the norm…..but whilst at work…..work, never let a customer feel they are “in the way” due to a social interaction with friends."

"Lovely staff, they made me feel very special with the care they took to help fit me into bra's that worked for me. The store was laid out beautifully and neatly. So many options, I will not be buying underwear from anywhere else. They also made my boyfriend feel very comfortable while I was trying stuff on. Thank you ladies :)."

"Helpful young lady today, who has tried. To fit me. Unfortunately the styles most suitable were not in my size!! A forest of bras in there & 'not my size! However food variety for most. Sadly my assistant is leaving bendon today."

"The store is set out to look lovely; there is plenty of space to look at the products without feeling squashed. They have beautiful items and if you visit the Hastings outlet store you'll find many items at hugely reduced prices. If like me you buy online, you'll find the items are sent to you very quickly and they are packed anyway so the items are not squashed or creased. The girl that works there very helpful and polite she doesn't crowd you so you feel free to walk around and just have a good."

"I would only buy in store in Napier if you have plenty of money. I made the mistake of accepting help from the young store assistant who took me straight to the most expensive items even after telling her I didn't want to spend a great deal of money. Every item I looked at she told me things were not right about them then carried on showing me the top range again. I was not listened to and felt like all the assistant could see was an imaginary huge dollar sign on top of my head. It was definitely not a very nice experience and would recommend everyone to go to the Hastings outlet if possible where the staff are fantastic and listen to what you want."
