Our founder, Andrew, took over the practice from his father Jack in 1993 after gaining valuable experience at Deloitte. He finds great joy in getting to know a client's business and helping them develop and grow into successful ventures. Andrew's dedication to his clients is evident in his commitment to being a member of the Otago Squash Club and Treasurer for the Rotary Club of St Kilda in his spare time.

Lynn, another valuable member of our team, joined the practice in the late 1990s after graduating from Otago University and gaining experience at Peat Marwick. Lynn believes that part of an accountant's job is to improve clients' work-life balance. She is passionate about helping clients stress less and have more time to enjoy their lives outside of the office. Lynn's problem-solving skills and commitment to improving systems make her an invaluable asset to any business.

Karen, our administration and support superstar, brings years of industry experience to our team. After previously working with us, she has returned to Better Business to contribute her expertise. Outside of work, Karen keeps busy with her daughter and the various animals on her lifestyle block in Waikouaiti.
