Welcome to the Union Street Lecture Theatre, located in Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, our lecture theatre is an integral part of the University of Otago.

At Union Street Lecture Theatre, we prioritize the highest standard of education and provide state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the learning experience of our students. As part of the Information Technology Services (ITS), we are proud to support and maintain 84 lecture theatres across the university. These lecture theatres, also known as the 'pool' lecture theatres, are utilized by Timetable Services to accommodate classes every semester.

Our lecture theatre is equipped with modern computers, both Windows and Mac-based, and other essential equipment. We offer various resources to assist you in making the most of your time in our lecture theatre. You can easily access presentation files and dropboxes to enhance your learning experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive instructions on using touch panels and advanced modes on dual data projectors in larger lecture theatres.

We understand that navigating a new learning environment can be challenging, but rest assured, our dedicated lecture theatre staff is available to assist you. They can be found in the campus area offices between 7.30 am and 9 pm, Monday to Friday, or at other times by prior arrangement. Whether you have technical difficulties or need guidance, our staff is here to ensure a smooth and productive experience for you.
