Welcome to Wingatui Racecourse, the home of the Otago Racing Club and the Wingatui Function Centre. Located in the picturesque community of Mosgiel, on Gladstone Road North, Wingatui Racecourse has been a proud participant and supporter of thoroughbred racing in Otago since 1899.
With fifteen race days held each year, including the now-famous event in Cromwell, Central Otago every November, Wingatui Racecourse offers an exhilarating racing experience. The highlight of the racing calendar is the crowd-pleasing Melbourne Cup Day races, which attract both seasoned racing enthusiasts and casual spectators alike.
Beyond its racing events, Wingatui Racecourse has also become a hub for thoroughbred breeding and training. The success of the venue has fostered a strong community of professionals in the industry, further solidifying Wingatui as a premium racing destination.
In addition to its racing facilities, Wingatui Racecourse is proud to offer the Wingatui Function Centre.
