Reviews
"Disappointing. Initially excited to find a noodle box/canteen in Dunedin. Impressed with the old school boxes rather than plastic bowls. Meals were so bad. Same noodle type throughout three separate dishes, no udon or flat ribbon - all Singapore noodles. No sauce - they all tasted the same. Meat was dry. Noodles more oily than normal. One piece of broccoli…. Sad. Golden lining, the service was unfaultable. Friendly and prompt. We’ll keep our palettes waiting for Auckland visits though. Won’t be back."
"Gosh!! Very disappointed with the food we ordered last night. Ordered Fried Kuai Teow, the noodles bit hard and salty. Sweet sour pork uncooked comes with rice, rice also uncooked the most horrible rice I’ve ever tasted. Won’t go back there anymore that’s for sure."
"Ordered sweet and sour pork on rice and onion rings, man I wished I read the reviews before hand. Pork was not cooked and cold in the middle with funny texture, completely put me off my meal. I returned and showed them and asked for a refund, they declined but offered to re cook the meal, I had something else to eat at home, so I declined it and left. Onion rings were OK on the other hand. ..."
"Ordered the honey chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The chicken in both of these were raw and so we took them back for a refund and they refused a refund and were extremely rude. They did remake the meals for us but didn't want to eat it after this."
"Nothing more annoying than getting your food all the way home to a hungry family to realize both of your chicken dishes are completely raw in the middle. Except maybe when you drive all the way back to the shop and they refuse to give you a refund because they don’t have the facilities, when you actually paid in cash! And then to be told it’s actually cooked and you don’t know what you’re taking about. Umm, I know what raw chicken looks like! And my daughter had already eaten a piece! They replaced the meals but by that stage we all felt too sick to eat it. I would give zero stars if that was possible. Avoid!"
