We take our commitment to the environment seriously. In an effort to reduce waste and promote sustainability, we have made significant changes to our packaging. Our coffee cups and lids are now compostable, and in 2018, we eliminated the use of oil-based plastic carry bags in our stores, replacing them with bio-degradable alternatives.
But our dedication to environmental responsibility doesn't stop there. We have also partnered with the NZ Packaging Forum to advocate for the development of more composting and recycling waste collection and processing facilities across New Zealand. While there is currently a shortage, we are actively working towards finding solutions to further reduce our environmental impact.
We are proud of our efforts, and we promise to continue seeking innovative ways to minimize our carbon footprint. "We go here often for coffee and food. It is a busy wee place but the service is good, staff friendly, the food is consistent and there are plenty of options from a menu or in the cabinet. Also nice coffee."

"It is a nice cafe and is humming most days. It is beautiful to sit down and explore the surroundings that's full of plants, sheds and pots e.t.c at Mitre 10. The kitchen was closed unfortunately when we arrived. Ordered two small lattes in glasses and a piece of baking with breakfast rosti. Lattes were served in massive cups. It was like drinking 500ml of milk. Didn't enjoy super diluted coffees. The baking was spot on. The rosti was crunchy, egg runny and bacon perfect. The whole dish tasted divine with creamy hollandaise sauce. A nice place to sit and chill."
