"Absolutely always delivers. Never misses the mark at all. Got a big sharing platter with all bits and it was absolutely delicious. There was something for everyone and it was so filling and suited my group well. I have been here multiple times and it has not once let me down. Absolutely recommend"
"Probably the best restaurant experience I've had. Found us a seat (no booking) on a busy night within 30 seconds and took our orders within a couple of minutes. Food then took no more than 10 minutes to come out and was the best Turkish I've eaten for a reasonable price. Got the paasha shared platter (for two), which was more than enough food. This dish had all the different meats available, and is a perfect dish for when you can't decide what to order. Our waters were instantly replaced when finished , and I can't find a fault with this restaurant if I tried. Will definitely be back."
"First time I've been back here in years ( now live out of Dunedin) the food is just as amazing as it was years ago, staff super friendly. Highly recommend."
"I tried this restaurant on the basis of its high google rating. Sadly, they failed to meet their ratings. I ordered a Doner meal, and they served the meat cold to luke warm. To make it worse, the meat was dry. It tasted like it had been cooked a while ago, and had dried out and became cold. The bread was warmer than the meat. The salad was ok, and that's the only positive about what they served. They must pay attention to what they serve, as most customers know the difference between good and dodgy food. Thank you."
"Best Turkish food we have had in a veryyy long time!! The food was very tasty, and great portions. Since we couldn’t decide what to choose, we ordered the shared plate for 2 with a mixed of meat and side dishes. My friends both ordered a lamb dish. The meat was just fresh, and grilled just right. We also had some coffee, apple tea (too sweet for my taste), and the baklava dessert which was perfect. The portion of the baklava was quite big and I wouldn’t order it for 1. The restaurant was really busy for a Wednesday evening. So it might be smart to make reservations. My only recommendation would be to add “Ayran” (Turkish yoghurt drink) to the drink list, (and make the Apple tea less sweet)."
