"Have tried all the 3 takeaways on South Road for fish and chips. Mayflower is definitely the best. I especially like the hot chips, not particularly crispy but taste really good for a takeaway. Portion size for chips is significantly smaller compared to other takeaways. But I don't even mind as I prefer quality over quantity. I go there about twice a week just for chips, that's how much I like their chips. Never ordered other meals from the menu as we're only after fried foods."
