Welcome to Giant Brewing, an independent, locally owned and operated brewery and public house located in the picturesque town of Havelock North, New Zealand. Our journey began in 2014 as a small side project involving two brothers and a mate, and has since grown into a beloved institution.

Nestled under the watchful gaze of Te Matapeak's sleeping giant, we have dedicated ourselves to crafting beers that do justice to the grandeur of our surroundings. Despite starting on a small scale, our ambition to create big flavors has remained unwavering.

At Giant Brewing, we offer a range of beers that cater to every palate. Our refreshing, light-colored beer is a nod to the traditional 19th-century European-style pilsner, but with modern adjustments that enhance the flavor profile. For those seeking a sessionable option, our pale ale boasts a solid malt base and the distinct flavors of four New Zealand hops.

If you prefer American-style beers, our pale ale with a seasonal variance of American and New Zealand hop varieties will surely satisfy your taste buds. And for hop enthusiasts, our India Pale Ale combines a mix of old and new age New Zealand and English hop varieties, resulting in a delightful blend of fruit, citrus, and sweetness.

While our core range of beers is a testament to our commitment to quality, we also offer a rotating selection of guest brews from other independent breweries across New Zealand. We believe in supporting our fellow artisans and showcasing the best that our country has to offer.
