At Hinuera Natural Stone, we specialize in crafting custom and standard blocks for durable cladding that not only offers distinctive good looks but also timeless elegance and exceptional durability. Our stone can be custom-sized to suit both your budget and your design preferences.

In order to meet the needs of our customers, our sawnstone products are now being cut to a 70mm or 90mm thickness, ensuring they sit perfectly on standard house footings. Additionally, we have introduced a new block that measures 290 x 145 x 70 mm, which is competitively priced to fit the budget of those who desire Hinuera cladding.

Our classic rough face profile has been the forefront of Hinuera houses for 60 years. Its unique and distinct character, along with its solid stone look and feel, conjures up images of an English manor with rugged beauty and charm. Our cladding blocks are split with a guillotine during production, giving a rough appearance to the wall when laid with the split face outward.

We offer different grades of Awa stone, taken from deeper in the quarry. While it is clear of pumice, it features natural mineral veining and iron markings, showcasing the natural volcanic stone. For those looking for a different color, our natural colored stone can be kiln fired to change it to a terracotta or rich brown color. This kiln fired Awa sawnstone is one of our premium products.

In addition to our Awa stone, we also offer smooth Sawnstone blocks that are timeless in their appeal and can enhance both classical and contemporary designs. These smooth sawn stone blocks are taken from the upper layers of the quarry and are characterized by unique inclusions of hard pumice and fragments of metal and basalt. The natural color varies from cream to grey, and when kiln fired, it becomes a rich golden brown.
